Why the subscription model? Why not just list all your earrings and let us pick?
- Every single pair of earrings is different because Diana loves the process of creating beautiful jewelry--there is no mass production line. The effort to photograph, list and inventory every piece would raise the prices and be really challenging. Think of this like a buying into a "farm share" or subscribing to your favorite magazine--you don’t know what the veggies will be or what the articles will be about, but you will look forward to each delivery.

If I order a style collection will all my earrings look really similar?
- There are a wide variety of earrings within every category. Our stylist will hand select a collection for you featuring a beautiful mix of looks and materials.

How does the personalized collection work?
- If you want a selection that is truly personalized, select one of three custom options. After you make your purchase you will be sent a link with a quiz that allows you to tell us what you would like. There are several paths you can take--it's like a choose your-own-adventure of earring shopping.

Can I buy a personalized collection for someone else?
- Absolutely! Purchasing a gift card is simple. You can also just use the recipient's shipping address when you check out and forward them the personalized survey link when it is sent.

Can I return a pair that doesn’t suit me?
- To keep our prices reasonable for these unique handmade pieces we decided to not make this a trial-box model. But we really want you to be happy. If something doesn't meet your expectations, contact us, and we will try to make it right.

Does Diana make jewelry other than earrings?
- Why yes! We have necklaces, bracelets, pendants and other items! You can look forward to seeing these in our store in the future. If you have a request, let us know.

Do you take special requests?
- Let us know what you are looking for, and we can talk. Diana has made custom pieces for special events, to match a favorite outfit or to complement another piece of jewelry you love.

When and how do my earrings arrive?
- Subscriptions work like a magazine. We ship them on around the first of each month. You will get your first delivery in the month directly following your order.
- One-time purchases will ship as soon as we curate your collection. Usually this takes about a week.
- All orders ship from our Oakland office. They arrive by US Post in small, tracked, padded envelopes that fit in most mail boxes or slots. Each pair of earrings is pinned to card with our logo and a hand written description of the materials used.

How does White Cottage Designs support the wine country recovery effort?
- We will donate a portion of all sales to the following local organizations:
  - Undocufund: An estimated 28,000 undocumented immigrants live and work in Sonoma County. Due to their immigration status they are not eligible for FEMA assistance. undocufund.org
  - Volunteer Fire Departments: Rural communities such as ours rely on our brave friends and neighbors whenever there is a crisis. We support the Angwin and Pope Valley Volunteer Fire Departments.
